Image Tool - FAQ
What are the support lines for?
All parts of the image that are not connected to the outer frame will be lost. Think of it like building a stencil where the bits in the middle need supports to stop them falling out.
Why should I define more of less supports?
Mostly you should try to use as few supports as needed to hold all the important parts of your earrings together. This way your photo will be most recognizable. You may of course decide to use the support lines as a design element. It is up to you.
Why should I offset the supports?
By offsetting the supports you can make sure you connect all of the important pieces. It is also useful if you don't want a support going through a specific part of the image.
Why can I move some photos but not others?
At present photos are stretched to fill the whole frame. If the image is not square you can slide the image to choose the part that should be on the earrings.
How can I select a smaller part of my photo?
At present the Design-Tool does not support zooming. If you would like to zoom in you should first edit your photo using a photo editing software like Photoshop, Gimp, etc.
How can I invert the result of the Design-Tool?
At present we do not offer an invert function. To achieve this you can first invert the photo using a photo editing software like Photoshop, Gimp, etc.
How can I adjust certain aspects that the design-tool does not support?
Because the design-tools result is based entirely on your image, you can pimp all manner of things using a photo editing software like Photoshop, Gimp, etc. By making parts of your image black you can ensure that they are cut out, and by making them white you can make sure they remain.
